Pat Teigland

Patrick Alan Teigland, 54, passed away at University Hospital in Salt Lake City on December 20, 2015.
Pat was born on January 17, 1961 in Canby, Minnesota to Wally and Marlys (Maertens) Teigland. He attended Holy Name School and Sheridan High School in Sheridan, Wyoming. He continued his education at Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas, and received his degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology.
Following graduation, Pat moved to Florida and lived there for several years. While in Florida, he met and married Marlene Young. Their son, Josh, was born in 1988. Pat, Marlene, Josh, and Marlene’s daughters, Kerri and Terri, moved to Riverton, Wyoming in 1996, where Pat was employed as a biomedical engineer with GE Healthcare.
Pat loved the Big Horn Mountains and was happiest when fishing, motorcycling, snowmobiling, or 4-wheeling in the mountains. He also loved to golf and play pool, and was active in the Riverton pool leagues.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his son, Josh Teigland (Alicia), sisters Mari Hoyt (John) and Jana Thompson (Tom), brothers David Teigland (Chrystal) and Jon Teigland (Zena), nieces Angie Wren, Katie Hoyt, Shandra Hendricks and Brittany Thompson, and nephew Devin Deutsch.
On Saturday, August 27, 2016, we interred Pat's ashes in the Quiet Rest Cemetery in Kearney, WY. A celebration of his life followed at Dave and Chrystal Teigland's home. Pat is dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends.
Pat wanted very badly to become a grandfather, and we know he is smiling in Heaven because Josh and Alicia are expecting twins in November!

I had not heard this - I am sorry he has passed so soon.

Pat was a fellow "Storyite" and classmate at Story School.  He was a nice guy -kind, friendly, smiling and laughing. I think I only saw him once or so after high school.   I send my sympathies to his sisters Mary and Jana, and brothers Dave and John.
